Frackin Patch: Space Skunks
DF a little too underpowered
doesn't really seem like it does too much at all. not sure if its bugged or what and the 1 minute cooldown seems like way too much for what little it does

It does inflict the vanilla poison status, that lasts 3x longer. So I probably won't be making it deal more damage.

However, I might consider shortening it's cooldown period.

My suggestion would be to leave the duration as the default (20) and give it a cooldown of 25 or 30.
I don't know if you can set the strength of the damage tick, but as it it now, its fine.

Does anyone else agree with Skunk, here?
im not sure i can agree, realistically speaking it either needs to be frequent if the effect is weak, or the effect should be powerful if the duration is infrequent

this is a mod for Frackin Universe's race patches. so realistically speaking one minute is way too much of a long time and the poison effect was doing barely any damage to enemies at all. so it'd either need a more advanced system like stunning or slowing or a combination of other debuffs both vanilla and FU provides, or it needs to simply have a low cooldown

i'd be okay with a cooldown above 5-10 seconds if the effect actually mattered. but unfortunately poison's seemingly very weak


i had this mod installed for a groupchat with 7 other people to play starbound with, and the three that used this race was wondering what the effect was even there for as not even a single red block chipped off of the health bar of the enemies. so. honestly may need to look into giving it different effects

came here to agree with this:

it either needs a super short cooldown if its going to remain simply the poison effect. or it needs newer effects that match the 1 minute cooldown. because 1 minute is ALOT of time for when it matters in combat

i heavily disagree with its current state doing both barely anything and having an insane cooldown of 1 minute. that's too extreme for simply poison
