Storage Units dont interact with Trade beacon
The Trade beacon does seem to recognize the storage wall unit. Its treated as a wall, which I guess makes sense cause that is the point, but means you cant trade anything with orbital traders

This is the biggest drawback with using the storage walls ): I wish there was an option to make them either be orbital beacons or have a storage option that has orbital beacons built in like RimFridge.

Though not a wall storage option but "[sbz] Gravship Storage" also has compact storage that works well with trade beacons, looks good and cleans up your ship. I used that instead for now
