While he did not say, i think its also a loss of passion over the mod. Like i said before, its a old mod that uses old code, making updates more and more harder to do without a rework.
So incase if you decide to update again i have a few suggestions.
Lambda player support: The developer of the zeta players had discontinued zeta players and made a rework. There is API that can help add this
DrgBase and VJ Base Support: Loads of people, including me use these npcs. Drgbase npcs attack any nextbot but the tf2 bots don't attack them and vj base npcs don't recognize the bots and vice-versa
Also i haven't used this mod in awhile but i think there was a bug where certain bots just "not attack" after a certain amount of time. For example demomen bots would stop shooting there grenade launcher after some time.
Yep, that's something I'd like to add in the next update, a more robust friend-or-foe config that can support all kinds of entities for cross-compatibility for other mods.
