How to use the Linear Campaign mode
The upcoming update for Pacific Strike includes the campaign setup as a "Linear Campaign". To access this you will need to be on the Public Beta branch until the Linear Campaign framework is rolled out to the Public Release/stable branch. Instructions for how to get onto the Public Beta are here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/1286220/discussions/0/6330466705287986768/

After you are on Public Beta, "Campaigns" becomes a new option in main menu. You can enter the Linear Campaign through this.

Linear Campaign places each mission in sequential order with interstitial events between. You have to win each mission (get result "Costly Victory" or higher) to proceed to the next mission. Completing missions will unlock the next mission or event. You can save your progress in the campaign and reload it later on similar to the future Dynamic Campaign.

If for any reason the campaign is not advancing (or if you want to just skip a mission you have already beaten from Scenarios menu), hit F10 to enable debug mode and then use the small icons on the right side to force complete each event.

Thanks for playing!

I am confused: when I activate the mod in stable beta branch patch version 0.4.3, I get the warning that this mod is not compatible. Shall I ignore this warning? And I do not see any campaign called "Pacific Strike", but only the campaign "Calculus of Conflict". But I see the missions of "Pacific Strike" in the "scenarios" menu.

When I switch back to release 0.3.2, I get no warning about compatibility, I also see the missions in the separate scenario group "Pacific Strike".

Can you please specify if I should load the release or the stable branch version and what I shall do regarding the mod warning in stable branch??

What franks6467 said. I only bought/installed the game a few days ago so I'm not sure if I could even roll back to an earlier version.

You can safely ignore all warnings about this mission pack - it uses no modded units that will cause issues in game.

The campaign form of this mission pack was never released and its future is uncertain at this time as I have now joined Triassic Games as mission/campaign designer. You can still play the base scenarios from the main menu. Cheers
