just if you want to know i can give you hint :)
Maybe later on you will find a hint to dig there but can't pretend every player to actually dig "everywhere" ^^
It's just as you actually found something hidden by the developer to be discovered "at a later time" (maybe you still miss the other 2 round keys? ^^), i'm sure he inserted some hint in the game to be found to help you find the dig site, it's "that" hint that i'm looking for.
Well i think i'll wait for his answer :)
P.s. don't tell me you also dug the entire beach...^^'
Your mod is good and enjoyable, i like it.
I don't know about sachatara but Harpo and me are veterans of this game, with dozens of mod actually done, that's why the question about "special items" or "special ways" to solve riddles. We have seen so many scripts and weird things modded by authors, so we actually check everything, even something you'll never think of ^^ (for example, there was a mod where you can pick up walking rats from floor and eat them...or another where you can actually break through cave rocks or even brick walls with a pickaxe, especially if the pickaxe is picked up in front of a rock ^^) but you say it's a "vanilla" mod, everything is like the original Grimrock 2 scenario, so it's ok for me.
What I was complaining was about the "Invisible" secret button; a seasoned player always think "outside the box" and go check everything around in a trapped and closed small space, i mean "there must be a way out if the developer sent me here" but a new player would never think to press all the walls "where a secret button maybe should be" unless he receive a hint about " a invisible way to get out". I don't know if you wanted it to be "invisible" or it's just a consolle error but if there are others around, and not in closed space where players get trapped, no one will actually find them, and players, trapped in, get frustrated and use teleport...or in the worst case abandon the mod, and it's a shame. A developer spend a lot of time doing it and get proud to see players enjoying his work, i think.
What i'm tring to tell you is that, if everyone is stuck exactly at the same point, maybe there is something missing in the story/lore/hint, something you can track only repeating every single step until you reach us. I'm not asking you to "play" your mod again but just to check where we are and what we miss. I mean, for example, sachatara digged everywhere was possible and found 2 keys but he did it on his own, without hints or messages telling him to "check in that place....between a rock and a tree...next to a dead tree...etc."
I usually don't like to "teleport" or "spawn keys" to go on; you do it only when authors are unavailable or doesn't respond (look at "Razorrock island" for example, a massive 52 map mod with no discussion chat and no response from author. The puzzles are not simple either, you get frustrated and start to spawn things to go on or teleport and bypass them).
You are present and always respond to us and it's really appreciated and we, playing through your mod, could help you find bugs you eventually missed and help anyway to improve it.
I'm only asking you to check where we are and tell us is we missed something, i mean hints, to go on. We all miss the 3 round keys (no hints or suggestion where to find them), 1 ornate key (same here) and all other ways are closed with levers visible on other side.
I don't want a solution or a walkthrough, my question is: is there a hint i miss (on a scroll, wall, talking stone or else) telling me something to go on? I explained my situation in the first post.
Looking for your reply :)
