I'm not sure how this vassal system is intended to work, I'd appreciate some explanation.
The tool tip, describing why I can't diplo-vasselize, suggests all these Mechanicus states are already my (Imperium of Man's) vassals, but I have no vassal interactions with them, nor is this reflected in their diplomatic relations.
This includes the Mars vassals which Adeptus Mechanicus asks you to give away.
