Zombies shooting at player

I'm playing on b41 zombies that are just off-screen seeming act as bandits and shoot at me , as soon as they are on-screen and i can see them, they revert back to acting as zombies, this bug just happened to me today. currently at muldraugh

I wish me and you could find someone to help. I see them shooting, but once in my line of sight, they just stop. They even have the subtitles above them as if they are speaking.
