I love the idea of this mod but it does seem broken right now, and there is much room for improvement. First, there is no option to save your list? So if you're looking for 10 items, you need to add them all back at the start of each game session.
Also, it seems to need to ve reloaded all the time. After a while, it seems to stop working. Either that or it's on again and off again. For instance, I was looking for cartons of cigarettes and had it in the list and came to the tobacco shop in Irvington. No pings. No sound, no circles even though i had the big circle option on. After i deleted it from the list and added it in again, then it started to ping. But it drew a circle for every single cigareete carton in the shop. I foubd seven, so there were seven circles on top of each other.
I know it's impossible because not everything is loaded at once but I would love the option to have each item on my list be marked on the entire map. For instance, if I look for a machete, I will see blips on the entire map, which I can mark and go to.
Also, is there no option for annotated maps? I couldn't find it in the items list.
Also wanted to ask if it is also searching in containers within containers. For instance, many sledgehammers are apparently now spawning in garbage bags inside garbage bins.
