Bug Reports
Report bugs here, and here only. Only report bugs related to Vanilla Vehicles Expanded. Bugs related to Vehicles Framework should be reported using proper channels outlined on the Framework steam workshop page.

Make it as easy for us as possible. Include Hugslib logs. Explain what you expected to happen and what happened instead. Help us, and we will help you! Only report issues related to Tier 3 vehicles in this discussion.

I'm getting tons of errors when the mod is installed and the right click menu seems to have broken too.

You have an outdated Vehicles Framework.

That's not outdated, that was the latest unstable branch. I'll get a log from the steam version too but I'm sure it was doing the same thing.

I am not getting any errors like that on the Steam branch.


Config error in Highwayman_MainTurret: <color=#8059F2FF>ammoCountPerCharge</color> must be greater than 1.

I find it incredibly hard to believe that your versions are up to date.

That's not outdated, that was the latest unstable branch. I'll get a log from the steam version too but I'm sure it was doing the same thing.
You're not up to date dude. Latest is 1.5.1381, please don't use unstable branch unless you're actively checking the #builds channel every week. I have that there for internal testing, and it's easy to get out of date if you're not checking for new builds.

Edit: Ah but I see I marked the wrong version in the change notes on steam. If that's what you were basing the latest off, I can understand the confusion. Latest is v1.5.1381 though, I'll fix the change notes.

Config error in Udar_MainTurret: ammunition is non-null but no defs are available to use as ammo. Either omit the field entirely or specify valid ThingDefs to use as ammo.

You need to include logs for Oskar. You're probably using Combat Extended, which there is no patch yet for VVE Tier 3, and the vanilla mortar shells (which Udar uses) are removed by CE

i built the Hermano but still unable to research big rigs first issue i got with this since paladin and springbok and lightning did unlock when i fixed them

Minor issue but the description format of the vehicles for tier 3 vehicles is different. Normally the format tells you how many crew are required for the vehicle and the fuel type but this seems to be missing from the new tier 3 vehicles. This isn't a big deal for pure transports but it is a bigger deal for stuff like the IFV and other combat related vehicles as it informs the player of how to use them properly.

Also the Wisent description isn't correct: it says it can carry 1 driver + 7 passengers but it's actually 1 driver + 9 passengers

I'm not sure what is causing it either, the xml seems fine so it's likely something C# related.

I experienced the exact same thing. The first Tier 3 vehicle I tried with, was quite disappointing.

I use a fairly extensive list, so conflicts should be visible as well. But I'm a tech dummy, so I have no clue which mod is responsible for one error or the other.
If anyone can tell me who to inform, I'll let them know.
