I think that's because, technically what happens is, the "killed" player is reduced to 1 health or something like that, and doesn't actually die. I'm not sure how the Your Eternal Reward would be modified for just this map so it still disguises the spy. This problem probably also exists in the Underworld/Hell on Helltower and other maps where dying turns you into a ghost.
