weapons are firing from the star in the system i am fighting in.

Which ship class? What ships were you fighting? Mining drones?

I was in combat with mining drones and ruby entities. Ship classes were destroyers, cruisers, strike cruiser and battle cruisers.

If it was mining drones, then it could be a game bug since their weapons sometimes fire from the sun. Other than that, I recently updated the mod again to include weapon locators on all of the nsc ships so it should be fixed now.

I can't make contact with anyone. I do the research and then nothing happens and everyone stays question marks.

yeah, seems like a lot of the Events dont work, The exploration cruiser doesnt spawn from NSC, most if not all contact events dont trigger after the research

Tested everything a little and it seems that the Installation 00 origin is breaking the Events from working, a Forerunner Empire with all the Forerunner Civs, the forerunner ships and Traits with the Maethrillian origin seems to be working great, but the same Empire and setting with the Installation 00 origin Events break

Did you fix the installation 00 origin event-breaking bug?
When starting as a machine Gestalt empire on Installation 00 origin, after the first month the Sentinel Manufacturing Facility disappears. Irony mod manager doesn't show any conflicts so I'm not sure whats causing it.

I'm playing a game as sentinals, The game is heavily modded, so this could be a conflict thing, but I got a popup for a experimental explorer cruiser and I researched it, but nothing happened.
Edit, I read the comments above, and I am playing on 00, so I'm going to assume thats why its not working.

It seems that the districts for Maethrillian and the shield worlds are not set up properly, as the pop jobs created by districts are only providing base levels of resources. It seems to function properly on Installation 00, and I have not tested the Halos to see if it works there.
There seems to be a problem with a few of the ship types. Cruisers and Battleships don't upgrade at shipyards, the percent is perpetually 0. Corvettes and Destroyers, however don't appear to suffer from this.

This mod doesn't alter any of the files related to ships in the common folder so I'm not sure how this mod can cause that to occur. Are you sure it's not from another mod you're using? Try using this mod on its own to see if this happens again.

Hey did you ever get around to fixing the installation 00 origin with regards to how it breaks events?
