I suggest giving it another try, just to verify. My guess is that the lag was caused by something else that you uninstalled or disabled around that time. Perhaps it remained in memory or on your disk temporarily, and uninstalling rp_yantar simply triggered a refresh of sorts.
you'd be correct thats gm_boreas, the best looking but the weirdest map in th history of gmod.
In terms of performance, there's nothing particularly weird about this map beyond the fact that it's larger than average and that it includes a (similarly large) nodegraph/navmesh by default. There simply isn't anything I can do about script addon authors who don't bother optimizing their code for that kind of scenario.
