Does AI need tech
Once the AI has finished to tech up, does blowing up their tech starbases take away their ability to produce ships? For instance, if i blow up the imperial tech 2 and 3 space stations do they stop to produce imperial II Star destroyers?

yes whatever they still have constructing will finish but they cant build more till they rebuild the tech the AI needs tech just as player does

There are a couple of exceptions for the AI, e.g. it does not need a special planet (Sullust?) to build quasars.

It still needs sullust tech tho which they can build without owning sullust
