Captain Piett vs. Admiral Piett
It seems that using the generic Executor class SSD (manufactured at Kuat with a massive discount) is better than upgrading Captain Piett's unique ISD-I with its special beam weapon. And a 5% admiral bonus that takes up 37 points is more flexible than one that takes up 111--he can be sent to manage another fleet. The generic Executor can work in Darth Vader's stack alongside Captain Needa (for stacking 10% buffs) without wasting this 5% admiral bonus.

Am I missing something here? Do I lose out on anything in the Endor mission by not promoting the captain? Admiral Piett's Executor seems strictly worse.

You can have both the generic executor and Piett in the executor. I understand why you might choose to build the generic first, but in the long run you would want to do both, ideally.

How to get more SSD? Only 1 executor make me sad. I changed build limit in SPACEUNITSSUPERS, but my changes not working in GC. Sorry for bad english btw
