If you could add one unit to AOTR what would it be?
Just a fun little thought experiment. I've often thought to myself, I would love to have (insert unit) in this situation. I was curious what other players and devs would add to the game. Obviously the time and energy to code working models and properly balance units means that many excellent units haven't made it into the mod (yet). What are some of your favorites?

I think the LAAT/le (the police variant) would be a cool early game empire air transport.I imagine it as a less effective IDT, with a less durable hull and lower carrying capacity (1-2) squads, but cheaper, more maneuverable, and available with starting tech.

In space having smaller e-war units could be cool. A modified gunship squadron like the U-wing or a gozanti group with swapped out abilities. I'm imagining something like the IGV-55 ship from rebels. Instead of carrying ties or healing drones, these variants would carry jammers and better sensors. I've often wondered if there is a way to make jamming impact enemy FOW reveal. Having units with an ability to briefly reduce enemy sight range would be sick. Not sure that's even possible with modding, might have to wait for EAW 2 for that (fingers crossed).

Anyway, just spit-balling here, but I hope you guys will post other ideas below. It's fun to think about the what-ifs, and who knows, you might inspire someone. :steamhappy:

Snow troopers spawn as a skin on cold planets for empire infantry.

You can already use them! Spawn in regular stormtroopers on a snow planet like polus or hoth and they all have snowtrooper uniforms!

Mortar troopers as like a tier 2 infantry indirect fire option for empire

hi u don't play table game. cause the snowtroopers has flame thrower and move faster then stromtoopers. if read my post it says from that game please dont skim read then u understand my post

The Subjugator-Class Heavy Cruiser as a dreadnought for the Black Sun, perhaps locked behind the IG-88 D tech. The Rebels have the Mandator II, and the Empire has the Bellator, The Arc Hammer, and The Executor, but the Black Sun has no proper dreadnoughts. I'm not counting Lucrehulks since the Black Sun only has access to the carrier variant, not the true battleship variant. The only other Dreadnought the Black Sun has that sort of counts is General Kalani's Providence Dreadnought.

The Subjugator could be built at either Mon Calamari or a new planet, the Quarren world of Pammant, which is the canonical world in which the Subjugator-Class was constructed.

For those of you who are not sure what exactly the Subjugator-Class Heavy Cruiser is, it's the Malevolence, General Grevious' Flagship during the early years of the Clone Wars.

Then those would be flametroopers that could be deployed on snow planets in snow armor like other stormtroopers? I am very aware of legion but what you wanted is kinda unclear, no need to be aggro about it dude.

While we are at it...flametroopers

Late clone war LAATs for Empire would be cool, kinda like we see in Bad Batch for the empire as an early flying transport. It could have decent firepower but be much weaker armored and be slower than later versions or spawn with less models perhaps.

Imperial Venators. I know that in canon they were "retired" but since I am the Emperor, I want the choice myself whether to keep producing them or not, and something about the gray imp venators makes me very happy. They are also incredibly useful in early imp fleets as sturdier battle carriers

I Would Like to see Qaser Fire-class Cruiser-Carrier for the Empir . Because in the Canon the Rebels stole those ships from the Empir and in this mod as the Rebelion you can build this ships and the Empir not. This don't makes sense because of this the Empir should be able to build

unfortunately i do cause u and the other must love to jump on people and i will not let me or other be bully. it need to be call out. and what i want is clear.

Not sure I like so many clone wars units in this time setting. However, an early empire campaign focusing on separatist holdouts and other independence movements set right after the founding of the new order could be cool. I feel like that would be a better setting for these units. I'm just a stickler that way though, to each their own.
