One of the best things about AOTR is the events and the progressing story that you experience, especially as the rebellion. Like how taking Bespin gives Lando, how once the rebellion takes Kuat you get to build a Mandator, Ilum uniquely providing a Jedi Temple (represented by Carth of all people.)

But I was surprised to see that there was no unique event or building for taking Courscant, the capital of the galaxy. I was already the New Republic at this point after winning at Endor but I would have expected something at least. Especially as there was an event in previous versions as you made the New Republic by taking Courscant, Corellia and one other world I can't remember.
