How to zoom in
The galactic view is far too zoomed out It's nearly impossible to tell fighters and bombers apart is there anyway to zoom in (without selecting a planet)

Simple answer, no. Unfortunately you'll need to get used to zooming in on systems, looking at fleets, and zooming back out again. The mouse wheel makes this very quick.
This isn't something we can mod into the game, and we need to have a more zoomed out view on account of how many planets we have.
