A bug or a Not-finished Feature?

For some reason, for me the planet from the system view and from the ship view is still barren, even though I terraformed it into a snowy one. What's the problem? Or is it a feature that will be implemented soon?

Since it's not technically a planet, the horizon is static.

This may allow the parallax to change when the biome is changed but not the star map icon:
