Any submod to add the pirate/mercenary starting forces as a playable faction?
title, would love to do a from the ground up campaign as those mercenary guys

Custom GC will be getting a roster swap feature when 3.5 comes out, so you can perhaps wait until the update drops.

If you don't want to wait, I can show you how to add and remove units from a faction, so you essentially have the same experience as the swap, but it does involve diving into the files yourself.
