Helpful Hints
Remember the game engine will treat this as a landing gear. If you are having problems placing it, try removing blocks around it so that the landing gear dummy will clear the objects around it. After you have placed it you can re-add the blocks you removed. Another method is to create your door outside of where you want it and copy and paste it into place. The method I prefer is to make the whole door with standard blast doors. Paint one of them a color not on the model and save. Open save in SEToolBox[setoolbox.codeplex.com] sort by color and replace the colored blast door blocks with Blast Door Locks.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I was able to reproduce and resolved the issue. I have updated the CubeBlocks.sbc to match the current landing gear CubeBlocks and that seems to have resolved it.

Enjoy, and if I ever get more time I do have model update coming someday(tm)

its a magnet edge for your blast doors.. helps heep them closed and in a locked state when flying around

ok i like the concept but what exactly does this do i mean you said its like landing gear but that wouldnt make it airtight or anything and if thats not what you want just make the piston extend more
(unless it does make it airtight)

This is an excellent idea. I do not use blast doors for the very issue this mod solves.
