Assassin Hero Class

Descripción
Adds a new Assassin hero class to the game. The Assassin specializes in melee damage, skirmishing, and positioning on the battlefield. Compatible weapons: Skirmisher, Ranged, and Fist weapons.

After months of iteration I'm proud to announce my Assassin hero class mod! Features:
  • Flavorful hero skills for 3 skill tree lines.
    • Shadow steps, Defense, Evasion
    • Melee
    • Critical Hits, Skirmishing, Flanking, Status Effects
  • Custom art and ability FX.
  • New starting loadouts based on the Shade unit's weapon skin and animations.

No base game files were modified. This mod should compatible with every mod.

Just pushed a small bug fix patch to fix 2 minor bugs.

Thanks for the comments all. I'm glad people are enjoying the class! I plan on revisiting the shadow side of the skill tree, but will wait to see if the devs release a new assassin/rogue hero class in the upcoming Gargoyle update.

@Nexious, thanks for the report, fixed!

@Jenkem, I'm unsure how the AI uses the class. I did make it less likely for the AI to choose some skills like Shadow Step to avoid AI heroes charging in.

Balance Changes
- Surprise Strike cooldown changed to 2 Turns (from 3).

Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where Graceful Killer unlocked Opening Strikes and Fatal Strikes.
- Fixed a bug where Eclipse Strike had preferred ability priority over Melee Strike.
- Updated the Assassin class description tooltip to include One Handed Weapons.

When getting "Eclipse Strike" it sorts itself to the top of all abilites and is selected as the default action instead of your base melee or ranged attack which I think is wierd and annoying.

Really had a blast with this class, tbh I am surprised that we yet had an evasion focus melee class in the base game.

My recent highlight was when my assassin does the hit and run strike, killing a unit, reset his cooldown, ended up on melee range with another weakened enemy, does another hit and run, killing another unit, then end his turn with a dagger throw, killing another enemy.
