This is for Stable version of the game

Due to the changes in between Elin patches, it's getting difficult to maintain cross version compatibility within same mod. Use this version if you are not running game with Beta -> Nightly, otherwise use Nightly Version CWL.

Do not use both at the same time.

Existing CWL mods can and should work with either version of CWL



Allows the game to automatically load modders' custom resources from the mod directory, simplifying the process for modders to utilize various game functionalities without any additional steps, and with extended localization support.

Ideal for mods that introduce new items, characters, or audio elements, the Custom Whatever Loader eliminates the need for creating script DLLs for majority of the tasks.

CWL is made with community effort and feedback, new features are added upon request.

Generally, you only need to prepare EN folder, as in JP entries are bundled within the same sheet. (Unless you are using god_talk.xlsx or other localized Data)

Config file can be edited using Mod Config GUI or in file at Elin/BepInEx/config/dk.elinplugins.customdialogloader.cfg

@An actual duck I'm fine with messaging, but you could also use Elona discord where it's more responsive than steam comments. Somewhere as in, any place you'd like to build upon (empty dev room, an existing map, etc) and export it afterwards

Thanks for the fast response. Is there any more detailed guides anywhere for creating zones? I don't want to trouble you with a bunch of messages. But I'm making progress on my own regardless. The only question I have is when you said create a map from somewhere, do you mean the actual location somewhere? i noticed that location has switched to being a dev room.

@An actual duck You need to use debug mode and create a map from somewhere, export it, make a Zone type in the dll, assign it in excel. Test in game with cwl zone spawn commands

In case steam doesn't auto update the mods - and likely often happen, you can verify game files integrity in steam to force update all mods. And fix potential broken files.

hope that new update didnt break anything sighhh wonder why dont the dev just only do one big update per month so that mod dont have to constantly try to keep up with the update
