Description
[Please Read] Info:

Updated: version change to 1.6, Remote doors work now. Doors are paintable. (metal doors are now airtight.)


Notes: Never done any code in this language before, so kinda trying to use this as an insane way to learn a little. Don't know if I'll be able to keep that up, but I'll try. Either way the mod works now as far as I can tell. Enjoy

Door expansion pack for RimWorld. Adds new types and sizes of doors.

Originally included:
Doors (1x2) - Double sized doors.
Doors (1x3) - Triple sized doors.
Curtains (Tribal)
-Fragile, flammible, and made of fabric, these curtains provide fast movement through buildings.
Jail Doors
-Strong doors for keeping prisoners inside.
Gates
-Stylized doors perfect for meeting pre-industrial needs.
Blast Doors
-Incredibly large and secure doors used to keep greater threats at bay.

Available in English, Polish (by sma342), Korean (by MarinHigh), Portuguese (by Freewayz), Russian (by kr33man), Japanese (by Proxyer), French (by qux), Spanish (by Crusader), Chinese (by Jujiote)

Updates and Notes
Add 2x1 and 3x1 autodoors
Add 3x1 remote garage-style doors
Add 2x1 and 3x1 tribal curtains
Add 1x1 blast door (thanks Jiopaba/InsanityPrelude!)
Autodoors, including the vanilla 1x1 autodoor, are remote controllable
Blast doors and remote garage-style doors can now breakdown like autodoors, but only at half the normal frequency
Remote doors rebalanced such that they open more slowly than autodoors but cost less and use less power (and breakdown less frequently)
Tweak all the various costs of blast doors and remote garage-style doors such that: blast doors > autodoors > remote doors > vanilla doors
Modders: DoorExpandedDef deprecated in favor of new CompProperties_DoorExpanded (see Heron_Doors.xml for examples)

@Rat_Boy I do not have anomaly and don't plan to get it, so I can't really test it sorry. Not sure why that would be tho.

After some testing it seems like the 3x2 blast doors for me have much less containment than the 2x1 or 1x1. I am using two walls on each side of the blast door. I don't know if it's one of the other mods I run or a small error in this mod.

anyone have issues with the blast doors not giving bonuses to containment?

@fallen: you just connect the button to another door/vice versa. Same as the first one

Hey, is there a way to make it so that 2 doors are connected to one switch/button. In that way, have a better way to funnel raiders through trap hallways/funnels. thanks.

How do you keep the doors open when you open them remotely?

a bug I've noticed is that the double doors at least break slightly with gravships, since if you rotate the ship when landing the double blast doors move a block or two away, it seems they don't rotate with the ship.

Could we please get the option of a perspective shift for the large doors? I prefer the slimmer look Rebuild has for the single doors when they're sideways, and would love the option for the 3x1 and 2x1s in this mod.

i use this mod since my 2nd colony many many years ago and have always been waiting for the curtains to become visually changed to split towards both sides, especially the 2x1 and the 3x1 curtains.

i would like to ask you for the favor of making it happen. the curtains being so pretty and the way the open being so unpretty keeps bothering this sheldon more than he expected. :')
