I just updated the workshop. Radio gets disabled when you toggle autopilot. There is also a hotkey on the seat to swap yaw/roll

I just picture the use case of the auto pilot being to get you out to your rescue (or whatever), and then the autoland to get you back. So I think it would make sense for it to cut the signal when auto pilot is being used so that you don't have to worry about changing the channel to something else and changing it back when wanting to return.

Not sure if there is a different use case you're picturing where having to change the channel to use the auto pilot would be more appropriate? I personally thought the auto pilot wasn't working, because I didn't realise I'd need to change the channel on the auto land to have it work.

I could add a simple bit of logic that cuts the radio signal if autopilot is enabled.

the autopilot waypoint gets overridden if there's a radio signal detrected.

So it seems that if my autoland channel is set at 0, when I activate auto pilot (but not auto land) it will navigate to the boat even if I have waypoints set. I have to change the channel to something else to get it to correctly autopilot to the waypoints. Maybe I am mistaken, but shouldn't the auto pilot go to the waypoints even if the channel is 0 (matching the boat)? And then autoland should be the part that is dependent on the channel?

Yeah I might. The logic is there in the gyro. Just have to hook up a button

I wonder, could you make it so one can switch the input for yaw and roll? I am more used to A/D being roll so if people like me could switch that with a button that would keep things simple and easy no matter what you are used to

ended up swapping the autopilot system to the SRS system can do multi waypoint and also shows up on the transponder map

nope should work. There's no line on the map with this one i just tested it and it works for me.
Input waypoint on the keypad click submit then press the autopilot button. Or autoland if you want to land there
