Description
1:1 scale replica of a Questoris pattern Imperial Knight, in the "Crusader" configuration from Warhammer 40,000,
with a slight modification regarding it's weapons loadout.

Loaded with enough dakka to make an ork blush, this variant sacrifices it's melee weapon in exchange for a second gun-arm so it may serve as a mobile heavy fire support platform.

In-game, the Knight Suit is a 9 meters tall mech with a few functions I hope you'll find interesting;

-To enter, climb atop the carapace's left side (as seen on the pictures) - a sensor-driven piston will reveal the button that opens the pilot hatch. From the inside, you can see it's paired switch on the left side of the dashboard.

-The interior lights turn on when the hatch is open or the player is seated.

-Take control by either of the two yokes.

-Exterior lights turn on when the mech is controlled.

-Head, shoulder mounts & both arms function as turrets and are taken control of automatically by piloting the mech.

-Hold [Mouse Left] to fire both "Avenger Gatling-Cannons". The barrels spin, and the shoulders have a slight, shaking recoil animation.
After 6 seconds of continuous fire, the cannons will halt and enter a 2-second reload / cooldown phase, during which the arm turrets shut down and return to their resting pose (this is simply to reset the rotors which get maxed out by this point. I tried to make it look entertaining at least.)

-Tap [Mouse Left] to fire the underslung "Multi-Meltas" (anti-armour thermal weapons). Tap repeatedly for subsequent shots. They fire limited blasts in an alternating pattern.

- Use [Mouse Right] to fire the shoulder-mounted lascannons. (normal beam weapons)

-Hit [G] key to activate / deactivate main docking units. These are for stowing the Knight suit.

-Hit [4] key to activate topside docking unit. Hold [4] key for 2 seconds to release it - You'll be given a message if it's occupied. This dock is for mounting additional weaponry.

-Switch at the lower rear portion opens the box holding the mech & turret computers.

-Cockpit has a life support unit.

-The mech has a custom walk animation with numerous moving parts. I would have animated the leg pistons as well, but the game can't handle those - hopefully only "yet"!
