Description
Welcome to the Kingfisher. The Kingfisher is a multi-mode vehicle capable of reaching the deepest depths, the surface of the moon and everything in-between! I have enjoyed slowly working on this project over the course of the last year and a half. I hope that it is able to bring you some joy, as well.

Big thanks to Glenn Labuffie aka Trynaeat. All of the lua code was done by him and I couldn't have done it without his assistance!

Start-up Procedure

No special handshake or extra steps. Sit down in the seat, and press 1. Wait for the reactor to heat, then the ship will power up and you'll be ready to go! Total load time is usually ~2min, but it can be longer if you're in a cold environment (the reactor has to fight the cold before it can get to operating temp).

If you do not have infinite resources turned on, you will need uranium ingots for the reactor. Insufficient uranium may lead to the reactor just never heating and the ship never fully starting up.

NOTE: Some character models will clip through the ship at high speeds. This can lead to drowning/suffocation when diving and going to high altitude. I've found that characters without beards/hats seem to work best. I don't know why this happens, but I have tried everything to fix it, so I chalk it up to just another weird Stormworks quirk. If you don't want to change characters, you can wear a space/dive suit.

It includes rps, air supply, sonar/radar information, and relays video/touch back to the ship so that you can control your attachment via the left-hand 1x1 screen!

KillerWillBlanc_, you use flight mode to fly there, moon mode is for helping you hover/land on the moon. Be warned, I've heard reports that a fair number of people have game crashes when nearing the moon, I haven't been able to figure out why to resolve it. Also, moon mode isn't the most refined mode so it may take a couple attempts to land. I'm hoping to work on it more, but I haven't gotten an updated version to the point where I want to release it just yet.

JabbatheJuan, glad you're enjoying it. I will likely get around to some form of weapon attachment eventually. There's already a lot going on in the base ship, so I'm not sure if weapons outside of an attachment is in the cards.

Floppa_FromFedEx12, it takes a couple to a few minutes for the boiler to heat up. If you're not playing with infinite resources, you'll want to make sure you have the required resources to spawn the fuel rods for the reactor. If you don't have the uranium to spawn the fuel rods, it will never heat up.

i can never get it to start up, i mean it starts up but when i click flight and pull the throttle to one it doesnt work, am i just doing something wrong?
