This mod is meant to be used as a replacement for the full JecsTools suite when using "A RimWorld of Magic".

It contains the JecsTools components required for RWoM, and nothing else:

AbilityUser
AbilityUserAI
CompDeflector
CompLumbering
CompOversizedWeapon

Please note that these come from JecsTools, I have made some minor fixes but nothing really performance-related.
With this you'll at least be running a little lighter - no need to load a bunch of code you aren't going to use anyway.
Every little bit helps.

FAQ:

Q: RWoM reports JecsTools not found, why?
A: You can ignore that; RWoM looks for the full JecsTools. This mod provides all the JecsTools components required by RWoM. [Should no longer be an issue, RWOM is officially using JecsLite]

Q: Does this mod replace Hugslib as well?
A: No.

Q: I see 1.4/1.5 here, will you support those?
A: No, they are provided as a courtesy only. My general rule is to work on only the current version.

Q: Are these components updated/optimized/improved?
A: Yes, I have made some fixes where needed, but as far as performance, not especially. I hope to do more at some point.

Q: Can you fix x, y, and z?
A: If proper logs and info is provided - yes. Otherwise - no. You should contact Torann regarding issues with RWoM (let them know you're using this mod). I am interested in any errors related to JecsTools, please provide a log and let me know.

Q: Can I use more than one JecsLite together?
A: Yes, but if you need more than a couple you may as well use the full JecsTools suite.

Is this required for RWoM, or is it possible to use the old Jecstools as well? I'm running the cthulhu mod which requires the full Jecstools, and I'm wondering if its possible to use that instead of this version.

How do i switch between skill trees if a pawn has more than 1 class? I have a death knight/faceless assassin and i can only access the Faceless skill tree

Not sure where to report this "bug" but ill drop it here just in case,
After getting Ideology the necromancers zombies have lost their ability to be sent off in a caravan on their own with the claim that you cant just send a "slave" alone,
They need a "non slave" to tag along to control them or some such error, Since the zombie isn't a living slave it should be able to be sent off like it was before Ideology...

Thanks, it's actually changed once since 1.6 has released as well. I've recompiled all assemblies against the latest build and updated this mod to version 1.0.4.

Error in JecsLite - A RimWorld of Magic:

System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: void Verse.GenExplosion.DoExplosion(...)
This occurs because the mod is still calling the old 1.5 signature of GenExplosion.DoExplosion, which no longer exists in RimWorld 1.6.

You can run either, I believe an error is thrown with JecsTools now but it can be ignored.
