The tribe where Marilyn was born once suffered from serious famine due to toxic fallout, to the point where the entire tribe was about to fall.

A few Minchos made their way to the tribe during the hard times and pitied the poor tribespeople. They decided to eat what humans cannot eat, such as rotting corpses and food and shared their bodies to feed on.

The few who survived worshiped Minchos as Gods. When food was given as an offering, Minchos responded with their bodies. At times, Minchos demanded a human being to be sacrificed, whether man or woman, young or old. This too was rewarded with their bodies. The "offerings" became incapable of living without Minchos, but everyone was happy in the end.

The tribespeople, through a long interaction with Minchos, developed unique psychic abilities. Marilyn, born as the daughter of the cheif, was gifted with sacred power to turn her foes into Mincho. People called the gift "Ascension," and praised her as the messenger of the gods.

Unfortunately, the Empire had its eyes on them for a while and concluded that she would be a useful addition to their military. The Empire has eradicated all who stood on their way, including the Minchos, and kidnapped Marilyn.

The death of her family, tribespeople, and of their Gods and the Empire's unspeakable experiments drove Marilyn to madness.

When she was lost by the madness, Marilyn froze everyone in the lab to death with her power and escaped. With her new powers awaken through the Empire's experiments, Marilyn has embarked to spread her lunacy-twisted beliefs everywhere on the Rimworld.
