AiEnabled is a total NPC inclusion mod that aims to spice up your gameplay by providing you with companions to aid you as well as enemies to hunt you. All NPCs use custom pathfinding logic to perform their assigned role. As ideas flow and time permits, I'll be adding more NPCs to keep things interesting!

If you want to have random encounters with hostile NPCs, this is handled via Modular Encounters Systems. MES is not required, but strongly recommended!

Note that spiders and wolves are turned OFF by this mod due to the impact it has on spawning AiEnabled bots. If you want to keep using spiders and wolves, you will need to use the Planet Creature Spawner mod from MES.

In addition to MES, there are a number of addons and other mods that generate random encounters. These are found on the AiEnabled Discord![discord.gg] Come check out the #mod-addons channel for details :)

Simply add this mod to your save and you'll gain access to the RoboFactory and Bot Spawner blocks. These are used for spawning friendly and enemy bots, respectively. See below for further details on how everything works!

trying to open admin menu (alt+f10) but the mod settings button does nothing

Might have a bad configuration file, if you delete the folder it will get regenerated

Did the option to add custom characters get removed? There's no section for "additional helpers" in the cfg. In fact whatever changes I make to the cfg get over written when I load the game. What's the new method for adding custom characters?

besides subscribing to a mod you will need to add it to your worlds modlist via the worldsettings.
it is also recommended to add all hard requirements that a mod has and the softrequirements of it you want to use to a worlds modlist as se sometimes hicks out and doesnt automatically adds the ahrd requirements and never adds the softrequirements.

i have subscribed to this mod but cant find it in my game? never used mods so i just thought it was as easy as subscribing and it works, what am i missing here lol tia

you can request stuff to be added to the bots memory so they know what to do with it via the discord if you want.

Thank you! my problem was using Q-tech Cargo I made a small vanilla cargo and it now works.

do you have a large grid cargo container accessible to it which is on the same grid as the materials are and on the same map on which the bots are working?
any form of subgrid connection (rotor, piston, hinge, connector) will not work for material supply ad each grid is its own map.
