AiEnabled is a total NPC inclusion mod that aims to spice up your gameplay by providing you with companions to aid you as well as enemies to hunt you. All NPCs use custom pathfinding logic to perform their assigned role. As ideas flow and time permits, I'll be adding more NPCs to keep things interesting!

If you want to have random encounters with hostile NPCs, this is handled via Modular Encounters Systems. MES is not required, but strongly recommended!

Note that spiders and wolves are turned OFF by this mod due to the impact it has on spawning AiEnabled bots. If you want to keep using spiders and wolves, you will need to use the Planet Creature Spawner mod from MES.

In addition to MES, there are a number of addons and other mods that generate random encounters. These are found on the AiEnabled Discord![discord.gg] Come check out the #mod-addons channel for details :)

Simply add this mod to your save and you'll gain access to the RoboFactory and Bot Spawner blocks. These are used for spawning friendly and enemy bots, respectively. See below for further details on how everything works!

My helpers are building blocks from projectors and I want to prevent them from doing that without having to turn the projectors off. Is there a setting for that? Am I blind? I don’t see info about it in the guide.

as every block needs to be manually added to theyre databanks so they know what to do with them blocks not present in there can cause issues. vanilla blocks already present prior to the fieldwork update where no problem for me so far besides a hickup every now and then but they where able to recover from it.

Pathfinding is kinda broken for repair bots. It looks like they don't see glass blocks of any kind, or corridor blocks, or side rails on catwalks as an obstacle. And just kepp bumping their head into a side wall forever. (Making ship out of solid armor blocks works fine but i won't do that.)

could it be that the bots we make are dying because they are starving to death?

Yep - same here.... Bots keep dying after a couple of minutes.

My turrets seem to attack the bots whenever they're around, and the bot is stuck on one grid trying to repair a block inside, is it possible to make them ignore a grid?
