Operation TREBUCHET First Contact

Beskrivning


Operation: TREBUCHET First Contact is an expansion for the Operation: TREBUCHET modification for ArmA 3. It will be developed separate from OPTRE and will not affect the development speed or process of OPTRE. Unfortunately, it will not be developed as quickly or frequently as OPTRE, as it is mainly a side project and fan service. However, we will do what we can to fix glaring bugs and issues and add new content as it it is ready.

hihi first off wanted to say i love the mod im a huge halo nerd so being able to play it in arma is super fun, i do have a few issues as minor as they are, elites and jackles (possible other enemies too) are hyper aware even when using stealth they just see you, they one tap you no matter what weapon they use unless ur a spartan and elites are near impossible to kill, now these issues are minor the real issue im having is i play this with antistasi and its difficult but fun that is until an elite surrenders but doesnt actually surrender he just takes his armor off and runs at you blasting you with his gun and your ai dont shoot back because he counts as a surrendered combatant idk if thats a problem on antistasis end or not and was wondering if you knew of anything to help with this, any help would be appreciated and again great mod absolutely love it ^-^

is there any way for the scarabs to move?

also with this mod on or any OPTRE mods the whole starting in spectator is broken like when i start in spectator it puts me in my dude with spectator ui and i have to press esc and spectate twice to actualy get to real spectator and when there is no player charecter the camera just floats where it was in the editor and going back to the editor sends the camera all the way out to sea

@Bacta Juice Ye just keep trying, All the ground vics are honestly designed with the intent of AI Can drive it, that goes hand in hand with trying to make it lore accurate as well, SO it does get dodgy some times and ya just gotta figure out the flow

Any tips for driving the wraith? It feels pretty hard to control.

You need about 10 hits to shot anybody down but enemy needs one hit ti kill you.
Nearly all weapons have the same low damage.
No Weapon sway reduction by setting a weapon on it's bipod.
Maybe a good idea but too many issues to have fun.:steamthumbsdown:

Covenant mortars dont have access to their own ammo and wont load it, but they can load normal mortar ammo for some reason?

I don't know how this happens, but ACE does not allow you to kill scarabs. The core simply takes no damage.
