Really interesting idea, and simple to find and get to the point no matter where it is.
SloppySausage 13 Feb, 2023 @ 1:26pm
we need this :spycon:

well the map is five years old, i kinda feel anyone who cares about it knows about it already from the original postings
DemocraB 13 Feb, 2023 @ 9:44am
Hey there, heard about Valve doing a community summer update? Seems like you've got a legit shot now! Maybe you'd like to post about this map somewhere? It's just so great!

Awesome map, bro! Valve made a HUGE mistake in not adding this to the update.
])oo]v[  [author] 5 Aug, 2017 @ 8:52am
update! made the map a bit wider.
Jake 19 Jul, 2017 @ 11:26am
2train?
Thuper Carl 17 Jul, 2017 @ 11:21pm
This map is difficult for flank classes, but is still interesting and fun.
DIS LKT r1ckyxd 17 Jul, 2017 @ 4:33am
an interesting take on koth, i love it
])oo]v[  [author] 16 Jul, 2017 @ 12:18pm
pyros would disagree

altho i did want to resize the map a bit but its more work than i have time atm
soggy wet bag full of diarrhea 15 Jul, 2017 @ 7:30pm
The fact that at least half the games I've seen on this map end with at least two Pyros in the MVP list suggests some more work needs to be done.
McNuggetFiend! 15 Jul, 2017 @ 5:07pm
Whao throwback! We used to host an earlier version of this on the community I ran, glad to see it get some new life! cheers!
Golden Koogie 15 Jul, 2017 @ 9:03am
Oh thanks m8

Golden Koogie 15 Jul, 2017 @ 8:14am
Also good map I like it
Golden Koogie 15 Jul, 2017 @ 8:14am
W would like to learn how to make the ground like lowers down and goes a little up, how do you do that? (I'm also using hammer to build my maps)
Tricky Tony 14 Jul, 2017 @ 8:38pm
I like the idea but it hardly fits the jungle theme and is easily dominated by mini sentries.
tbenajj 14 Jul, 2017 @ 12:57pm
I still love this map. This has the uniqueness of that one Payload map, Frontier. We need more maps like these. Same objective, with something original.
Shitface 14 Jul, 2017 @ 12:07pm
LOOKS AWESOME!!!

**dust/smoke/fog**
])oo]v[  [author] 14 Jul, 2017 @ 9:58am
the track is an unavoidable sightline across the whole map with lots of crap to render along the way

areaportals aint a framerate panacea you know
Tynnyri 14 Jul, 2017 @ 9:48am
wait framerate problem in THIS map?`
This is very closed-off map, you can easily put areaportals very strategically
])oo]v[  [author] 14 Jul, 2017 @ 9:43am
nah i want to place them in pretty places all careful and shit

also, framerates
Tynnyri 14 Jul, 2017 @ 9:37am
I mean basically spamming couple trees and bushes isnt that hard of a work, copy paste anyone?
])oo]v[  [author] 14 Jul, 2017 @ 9:35am
yea i should try to make it prettier someday
Tynnyri 14 Jul, 2017 @ 7:20am
add more forestation
add more detail outside the map
add some trees inside the map
hairold 13 Jul, 2017 @ 8:18pm
i mean if you add a bit more... info (such as: an overview, heath and ammo packs where they are and how much) but other than that... its pretty GUCHI
])oo]v[  [author] 13 Jul, 2017 @ 4:26pm
if you mean the ramp in the building, its there to make it harder for the other team to push in
tbenajj 13 Jul, 2017 @ 4:14pm
Just played it today, and everything seems okay with it. Graphics are clean, and the control point works like any other. Just one problem I see. After leaving spawn through the middle exit, there is a ramp that leads nowhere. Is that are gonna be used for something, or is it just anti-spawncamp.
$hik 13 Jul, 2017 @ 11:49am
Cool ! :vottak:
Joseph Stalinski 13 Jul, 2017 @ 10:42am
well done:steamhappy:
Tricky Tony 13 Jul, 2017 @ 10:08am
I played a game in which 2 engineers with mini sentries were able to hold the point from our entire attacking team, the strange functionality doesn't have to do with the way the map works but with the way it's set up, I also think it doesn't really visually fit the jungle theme and kinda just looks like a regular forest, regardless I wish you luck with it.
])oo]v[  [author] 13 Jul, 2017 @ 9:59am
strangely how?

the train is just a tracktrain with some startforward/stop inputs and all the capture point stuff parented to it. i had to add a trainwatcher to magically fix glitchy collisions, which magically broke control point capture announcer and i had to remake that by hand.
Tricky Tony 13 Jul, 2017 @ 9:00am
seems like a cool idea, but when actually put to the test this map functions very strangely.
Eryr 13 Jul, 2017 @ 6:35am
How did you make the train move/function in Hammer?
Defenestration Enthusiast 13 Jul, 2017 @ 1:18am
It shouldn't be broken. It downloads just fine for me
robi. 12 Jul, 2017 @ 11:40pm
fun
Eqbert 12 Jul, 2017 @ 11:39pm
havfun #NetNeutrality your sever is frozen. Its not downloading the things. Broken??
Eqbert 12 Jul, 2017 @ 11:37pm
Im intrested in this map. I think its gonna go with the Team Fortress 2 Jungle Update.

Thats when the sever will go a multi casual severs!!
Defenestration Enthusiast 12 Jul, 2017 @ 4:41pm

Nice

the center control point should be oriented the other direction, and move based on who owns it. so if red team owns it, it moves towards blu team's side, making it easier for blu to cap it. and then it moves toward red team's side, making it easier for red to take it back.
