My friend made 350 villagers and started attacking with those. Problem was that they did not find any targets on their own, like the military units do. So just any way to make them able to do that would be awesome! :)
It's up!
Thanks for the input, Sally! :D
I have a third idea on how to do it, just in case it might me helpful. Maybe it's easier to make the monks able to train units like the barracks can? Except the monks would have to stand near a corpse that gets removed (if that is even possible). Of course the skeletons would be free, or cheap as dirt.
Do you think you could make a necromancy mod? Just by giving the monks the ability to summon skeleton warriors from corpses? With the basic spearman stats. Also arrows can't penetrate a skeleton (no flesh) so they would slow moving spearmen with really high pierce armor. Really weak to infantry.
Potatoman Pine tree it is.
I think there's already an existing mod that graphically replaces champions with legionaries if that's what you mean.
I've suggested this several times in the forums without once getting a response from the devs. We'll all just have to speak up louder. Pototami (OP) and I found a quick and dirty way to give monks a stand ground option for now, but it's not perfect. The monks still take a couple of steps before they remember they had orders to stand the fudge still.
