Ohhhhh okay, that makes more sense. I keep seeing mods say they're compatible with 1.0 and/or B19 and just kinda gave up on figuring out what exactly was going on lol. Thanks for clearing it up, if for no other reason than curiosity's sake. :D Regardless, thanks again for the mod!

I confirm it's not the 1.0. It was planned to be but the game maker decide an other major release is needed. So next one is normally 1.0. Which mean normally less change with update so easier compatibility in mod.

I could be wrong? I don't think I am though. There was a big buildup to it and whatnot, and there was a 'polish the cannons' release like two(?) days ago I think. But yeah, I think B19 and 1.0 are the same thing.

No worries at all about not being around to update it, btw. I've modded a bit too and I know it just kinda tapers off after a while lol. Sometimes you go back to it, sometimes you don't. I've put at least 100 hours into modding Paradox titles and haven't even played any of the ones I modded for almost a year, at minimum. :P

At any rate, I'm still playing B18 atm so I could continue my save, so I'm not bothered at all lol. I'll check back whenever I do switch to 1.0 though. Cheers!

Honnestly, the update is far away in my priority list. It was just a small mod for commodity usage, not a gamebreaking one. Perhaps I will be abble to look in the game file in the middle of september. Will link the new mod there if it's happen. (It alwo may still works. I don't think they change AGAIN how they refer to files. But I have not tested since I don't play rimworld anymore for a while)
Are you sure it's I.0 ? It's surprising if it is B19 then. When reading the update patch, it was looking for me the next one will be the 1.0

Rimworld 1.0 (B19) was released just yesterday/day before (timezones and such), so I assume s/he's asking if it's been updated for 1.0, or if it still works anyway. If you do update it by the way, please do a favor and make another workshop entry to maintain a B18 version on steam. If you have the time. (:

I don't know what you mean with 1.0. Last time I tested it, it was displaying the good version number.

1.0? O.o

What did you do to Gray?

I check today : it should work even on B18. The mod will be in red because it's the wrong version displayed in the about, but the files didn't change with the update so it should work fine. It also mean that there is no change in the B17 : this debuff still exist, so if you are bored by this featuring, us my mod :) It will be the last one I will update since it only change the version of the mod and it can be used by anyone without trouble (just perhaps a message display when you first select the mod).

Honnestly I don't know. I have to look at the files in the vanilla game. I will this week end normaly :)
Omega13 28 Nov, 2017 @ 10:04pm
Anyone know if this still works and/or is needed for B18?

Looking forward to the Beta 0.18 update!
Teneombre  [author] 21 Nov, 2017 @ 1:06am
I just learn that the 0.18 was release a few day ago. I miss the update somehow. I'm currently a little bussy, too much to look how files evolve in 0.18. The update of this mod will probably comes at the beginning decembre.

Tested it out in a completely fresh game. Spawned a dromedary, unbonded to anyone and untrained, tamed it in dev mode, then had an enterprising young colonist slaughter it. No social hit from the other colonists whatsoever. Works like a charm. A+

I forgot to change the .txt to .xml -_- noob power 10^980. But it's pretty useless, now I manage to remove this debuff from been actually use. I will update this soon anyway because it will work on old "killed colony animal" (so until, the pawn kill an other animal, it will skill have the debuff, but with a 0 effect).
Omega13 22 Jun, 2017 @ 3:44am
The prisoner selling mod is *both,* actually. At first he couldn't get it to work on the social debuff. Later, he got it working though. So I thought it'd be a nice example to work from.
Teneombre  [author] 22 Jun, 2017 @ 2:54am
Well, I didn't found where I fail. The change I made seem to have no effect. So I go with an other change. This time, the debuff just disapear. This change is not retroactiv BUT it will update if someone kill, again, a colony animal. That mean, when you charge a save, all the butcher still have the debuff but as soon one of them will kill again, this debuff disapear for him.
Teneombre  [author] 22 Jun, 2017 @ 2:17am
Will look what is the problem latter today but the prisonner selling is a mood debuff, not a social one :/ So I can't use it
Omega13 21 Jun, 2017 @ 6:45am
But until it's clear whether or not this mod actually does anything I guess I'll stick with my prior solution - having the colony's Mobile AI do all the slaughtering. Nobody likes that weirdo anyway.
Omega13 21 Jun, 2017 @ 6:42am
There's a mod called "Selling Prisoners With No Guilt" that has a similar effect for selling prisoners to slavers, that I use for my more nefarious colonies. That one visibly changes the social penalty to 0. Maybe the creator of this mod could look to that one as an example?
jGazMom 20 Jun, 2017 @ 7:15pm
If it actually makes it -0 why is it saying -5 still? I have a hard time believing it is actually working.
Omega13 20 Jun, 2017 @ 5:36pm
So not to be obtuse, but if it's still showing up in game, and still adding to your overall social opinion, how do we know that it's not doing anything?
Teneombre  [author] 20 Jun, 2017 @ 8:46am
it's the idea :p
Snowstorm 20 Jun, 2017 @ 7:07am
Now I can butcher mr. lizard who just joined the colony randomly that just wastes kibble without people getting pissed!
Teneombre  [author] 20 Jun, 2017 @ 12:51am
no new save needed normally. Will make a few test today of tomorow
@Phyla : yes, sort of. Actually, as soon as a pawn kill one of your tamed animal, every one else will have a -5 in opinion of this guy. My mod change this value to 0.
Luna 19 Jun, 2017 @ 11:06pm
I am confused. This is a debuff when we are raising animals for food?
LyNX_019 19 Jun, 2017 @ 9:38pm
Do i need a new save for this?
