Just wanted to let you all know I updated this mod to 1.1 and 1.2, and added elemental boomrats too, you can find it here:

Ahh, I was hopeing it meant that the spawn rates were reduced. Becaues each species inherits the same spawn chance (the same as the base game's boomaloope), the additive spawn chance is so high I've seen herds of 'lopes tend to crowd out other secies in longer runs. Plus from a natural selection/ carrying capacity point of view the breeds are all in direct competition for the same resources, so the spawn chances of all 'lopes should probaly sum to the base value for boomalope.

The normal boomalopes will still be around as normal, doing their usual boomalope things. The Elemental Boomalopes come as an addition.

Actually, that's something I'd like some feedback on. Are the Elemental Boomalopes too common on your biome?

@ShadowTani, it'd be so cool if different boom-creatures were milked for different products. I know that would make the game balance *way* more complicated, and it's pretty perfect as-is, but I want to put the thought out there.

@Mehni Hello! As @Daniel_USA said I can add an immersion fix between my mod and this one which will allow users of both mods to enjoy the features I put on the vanilla boomalopes with your "boomalopes" as well. The features of your mod itself will remain untouched as it's a patch inject; still I like to give a notice when I create bridges like that so that you have the opportunity to decline if you're opposed to it for whatever reason.

if you are looking to harvest stuff from boomalopes look at the nitroglycerin and neutroamine mod.

it lets you "milk" boomalopes and boomrats for nitroglycerin which can be used to make chemfuel or refined into neutroamine.

The mod maker even made a patch for the "doomalope" which makes more glycerine.

I posted a reply that the modder should team up with the elemental boomalope modder and make it so you can milk the elemental boomalopes for different colored nitroglycerin.

It occurs to me that boomalopes were supposed to be for chemical production, but you can't harvest anything from them. It'd be great if you could do that with the base one and all of these, somehow.

I don't think i'm going to use this anytime soon, but the concept of a firefoam boomalope amuses me greatly.
