@scott_wollman:
I only ever played PvE/SP, so yes, it was made for that. I always thought the level limits were really arbitrary... if I can tame a raptor at level 10, why can't I ride it at level 10?

I once tamed a giga at level 54. Couldn't ride it, but gosh, it made a great big protection puppy. :)

I like the idea of this mod for PvE and Single Player. To answer your questions about why they were made to wait, it's PvP balance. At least thats what's intended... dont want someone destroying you with a giga too early now... oh wait! they can still put em on follow... NVM. Why wait? lol! :)

@nathanyiyi:
No idea, sorry.

ok but do you know any mods that give all item emgrams from genesis without having the DLC?
Pach  [author] 25 Apr, 2021 @ 8:49pm
@nathanyiyi:
No. It just makes saddles available at level 5. All other requirements remain the same. (or at least, it shouldn't make them available if you don't have the DLC)

does this give saddles emgrams from DLC maps even if you dont have that DLC

Great Mod! Saves me so much time and I don't have any problems. Now I can ride my dinos when I tame them and I can get through Extinction quicker.

Wise plan. :) It was a very simple mod: it just changed the levels of the engrams for saddles to level 5, so doesn't require a lot of updating. It worked when we ran it when Extinction came out. If you have any issues or comments, please let me know, and I'll take a look.

@Pach I haven't added the mod in the game yet... I see the last update has been in the year of 2017 and also the last comment was as old, so I decided to ask first :) many mods with that old updates are no longer working so I just made sure :)
Pach  [author] 23 Mar, 2019 @ 1:43pm
As far as I know; nothing in the game has changed that should break it. Are you having a problem with it?
Sandra 23 Mar, 2019 @ 10:07am
Is this mod still working?
Pach  [author] 9 Sep, 2017 @ 4:33pm
@Blckblur Thanks! Glad you are enjoying it!
JPWarrant 9 Sep, 2017 @ 3:45pm
@ Pach Alrighty! Thanks either way! Great mod by the way ;]
Pach  [author] 9 Sep, 2017 @ 3:33pm
@Blckblur
If the dinos use regular saddles, this will work. If they have their own special saddles that come with them in their mod, then no. Modders cannot alter another modder's creations.
JPWarrant 9 Sep, 2017 @ 10:34am
Will this also lower the level of the saddles from modded dinos? Like Pugnacia Dinos Alphas? Or any other mods dinos?

what is the mod ID?
Pach  [author] 2 Jun, 2017 @ 1:51pm
@Sketaful: I thought it was easier just to make the mod than to do all that coding. ;)
Sketaful 2 Jun, 2017 @ 1:16pm
Well, I use the server manager so I just write it in a list, but it sure is a lot of work anyway compared. :)

Correction:
It would be
OverrideNamedEngramEntries command
Pach  [author] 31 May, 2017 @ 9:08pm
@Sketafull: Correct. You'd use the "OverrideEngramEntries" command in the game.ini, once for each saddle.

However, to get the same effect, you'd have to look up the engram points and other requirements for each entry to keep them the same, and enter all that in line (the override command requires a whole bunch of arguments, and you'd have to fill them out as they are in vanilla to get the same effect).

Now, if you want to change engram points/other requirements, the command line is the way to go, as this mod doesn't change that--on purpose, as most saddles have some "balancing" to the materials required. You won't get a rex saddle until you can at least make a smithy, for example, and getting 75 keratin at level 15 for a ptera saddle isn't as easy as it sounds (doable, but very difficult).

Just a quick question. If you run a server this is possible to be changed without any mod right? Just checkin. Love the ease of this so no complaining, just curious. ;)
Pach  [author] 27 May, 2017 @ 6:58pm
If it doesn't, let me know, and I'll see about fixing it. :) Love to hear any feedback you care to give!

About to give this a shot shortly! Great job, before hand. I'm sure it'll work fine.
