just imagine if this is like the caber how useful it would be for the banners? didn't think of that did ya! also imagine your a soldier and there is a team around the payload cart so you jump down hit a guy with this. He dies but you also get splash damage on the rest of the team around the cart and u instantly charge your conch then u use it and run away giggle about how u messed up the push solo style.

Bah, this is lame.The Soldier shouldn't match Ullapool with Ullapool. He should invent or aquire his own relevant weaponry with which to combat demoknights with.

Plus the Ullapool is not that great a melee weapon anyhow. I'd rather just the Demoman.

The weapon looks awesome! If they put it in the game I hope they would make it work like a modified ullapool caber. Make it a little smarter to use. What do I mean by that? He're an example:

The Maggot Decimator

Explodes on hit
+When >100 hp -70% caber damage to self to self and no knockback
-When <100 hp + 70% Caber damage to self
-This weapon is honor bound
-No random crits

Rec + Ullapool Caber + Shahansha

It's meant to be used only if you are about to die, and it makes you think more than just smash the first person you see.

I know Valve chooses the stats, but I wanted to prove that new caber type weapons could be made.

"It's just a caber for the soldier" Yeah, so? Soldier and Demo share a lot of things, why shouldn't the Soldier get an explosive melee? Demo has one because he's drunk. The Soldier is just kind of dumb.
