gonna check this out. may be a good companion mod for (NWN) Real Fog of War for those of us who like to disable raid letters ,but still want some kind of non-descript warning.

There is a link. It plays alarms based on danger level, people near the alarm get a consciousness boost.

@yaayaagaming: how are you testing it?
You need to spawn some danger (raid, manhunter animal, ...) for it to trigger. It is based on the vanilla danger rating so it may take a few seconds to trigger when a danger appears.

Just wanted to come back and drop a comment about this mod.

It's very simple and very straightforward but I always research it early on. Sometimes my game bugs out and doesn't warn me properly about threats (with maddened prisoners especially). With the alarm system this mod provides, I'm always aware of what's going on. If someone means my colonists harm, I'm aware of it.

Simple, to the point, does it's job perfectly. Thank you for the mod.

Hm memory should not be a problem, 16 gb ddr4 3200 I think.
I am trying to shift it higher or lower in my mod load order.

If it was correct the first time, I do not know what could be the issue. Lack of memory space maybe?

Moving higher up to fix it? The first alarm signal was correct red, after that purple, I guess missing texture error?

@Paladin: cool to know. I had issues testing it with debug tools. I suspect that the storyteller danger rating id not behaving as expecting on a test colony.

The sound files can be changed under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods\MiningCo. AlertSpeaker\Sounds\Building.
Could you share me your files if there is no license (or something like Common Creative)?

@VokulInhahdrim: keep in mind that Rimworld is not about realism, it is about story and !fun!. So by design, I found that current radius was enough. I may add a parameter to modify it for A18.

@dmcc2002: I don't know how tornado works at the moment. I will see if it is doable.

hi are you going to update this mod to allow the new tornado weather event to trigger it as a warning for colonists
