With black background u cant see the color choosing button which defaults to black. Its under the pen icon.

theres a hidden button under the pen icon, u press it to switch to another color and then it will work

-Needs more color options
-No erase tool
-When my taskbar is disabled, I see a row of white pixels at the bottom, here's a picture [imgur.com]
I love this concept I bought wallpaper engine purely for this plug in :) I hope you update it in the future!

Also is your code open source? I'm kinda tempted to play around with it.
