You mean select it as a faction? You can only drop their units and items since this is a non-faction tech.

Hello @Chiko , I feel a bit silly for posting this six years later, as I am one of few picking up CC for the first time in years. But I can't seem to select your tech in campaign, as well as scenarios. Everything was extracted properly (7zip), and it shows up in the mod manager, any ideas?

@Çhiko Are you planning on updating this mod or are you done with it now. The Blockworks/Earthworks stuff sounded cool. There aren't many mods for bunkers/defences around.

This mod Is n i c e Maybe you could add Something like.. And Im just throwing Ideas at the wall here What if you added Say A sentry? As in a Device that cant move but has the best Fire power?

@Ghost993514 Have you tried unitec? You have to edit an ini to get the full shoplist, but they have a ton of modern guns. It's the best mod by far for what you want. I believe there is even a sniper unit with longer vision range.

Sure, but I have a list of mods I have to implement first. I'll release one more fallout faction and then I want to advance with Mass Effect ones. I was supposed to make ME factions for a while now and then I have to go back to adding the missing Starbound factions I was also supposed to finish a while ago. xD

Hey Chiko, could you do a 'modern military' style of mod?
I love your mods (paricularly the Gone With The Blastwave factions) but I can't find a mod with good 2000s era weaponry and AI.
They always seem to have less range, and the one good one I found isn't an actual 'tech.'
If you do make it, could you add a sniper unit, with more viewrange? That's the big part, for me.

The only way I know would be to add them directly into the vanilla data files. It can be done but I would be unable to release it in Steam Workshop.

Is there anyway to make this part of the trade star stuff, like anyone can buy it even with the hide foreign items?

So I was deleting stuff from an old hard drive and I found some now obsolete mods I made ages ago but I never uploaded, Blockworks and Earthworks.

Blockworks was new bunker modules like shooting posts, guard towers and pillboxes but reinforced with metal materials. It also included big modules; a fort and an outpost.

Earthworks was more like makeshift tunnels you could place anywhere, placeable dirt, rocks and sandbags. It was more like for terrain repair after lots of combat over the same battlefield.

I will include both of these in Systemworks for the next update.

It's not a faction. It's just tech anyone can use. Support units and tools for the player. The only issue I have been unable to fix is the x4 price penalty the items are getting in campaign mode.

Is it normal for this faction that there is no their own guns. How am i suppose to fight with coalition or brown-coat with the basic weapons? But everything else is good =) .

A unit like that would be kinda redundant, since the Breach Crate would always be the better option with its ability to devilver whatever you want inside.

Also, about the costs... I've messing around with the files and it seems the x4 price multiplier is hardcoded. I could reduce the prices but that means they will be almost free in scenario battles. :(

I can but there's just one problem. Crab style units cannot pick up weapons. They can only use built-in weapons.

You mean the Battle: LA? I like the soundtrack in that movie. The Drones and tech is pretty much edited Dummy tech. Almost like a white reskin. Not really original. :P

The bipedal drone legs are the most original thing in them, though. It's like the only thing I made from scratch.

Hm....I know where these robots are from...OH, was this inspired by "Battle of Virginia" movie, i don't remember it's name, but when the aliens came to attack, they looked almost exactly like the Soldier Drone!

Oh, I forgot the price goes up a lot because it's nor part of the Tech you are using. They cost 125 but the game is regarding them as faction tech of their own. It'll be fixed in the next update.

They're a bit too costly, a 500 pound for a basic soldier drone? yeah sure, not my factional tech, do you plan on adding new ships, perhaps mechs as well?
