A suggestion regarding cosmetics: maybe the snipers should have goggles or helmets with visors/glasses or the like, instead of their feathers?!

If you take away the shields and the armor for the dwarf snipers, you can name them Malakai Makaisson's snipers, since he is a dwarven slayer engineer, who uses bombs, cannons, airships, guns etc. And they even had equiptment that was exclusive to them, since he created them himself, like a gun which can shoot six times without reloading

To add to what someone else mentioned before, it might be better to not give the Hawkeye Thunderers Slayer hair, if only to please the more lore-minded folks using the mod. It's a small change, but it would make a huge difference. afaik, lore-wise the Slayers are essentially a dwarf cult with a deathwish, going into battle unarmored and trying to find an opponent deadly enough to be worthy dying to in a fight. Ranged Slayers kinda go against that, since it's not a very glorious death to get shot or cut down while reloading.

The units are designed for my modern overhaul mod and it isn't intended to be lore-accurate, though i aim for lore-friendliness, that is one of the design freedoms i take. The Slayer snipers mak the new dwarf units and models more Unique i think.

what slayers who use range? i think it should be regular dwarves and you could put some nice hats on them
