this was fun, thanks!

Closer to reality then I realized. I live in Belmont County, Ohio. Just 2 miles from Wheeling WV. Like the scenario the county is made up of small steel towns and rural areas, and its all a traffic nightmare

Loved it, took a few attempts to do it in a nice way that I was happy with, great times !

one of the best mod scenarios! also it made me think. what if you had a game where other towns started in adjacent tiles controlled by AI and you could absorb them if you win a challenge or they absorb you and you lose!

**** READ FIRST**** This scenario is over 6 years old. Please keep that in mind
TS_Mind_Swept 10 Nov, 2022 @ 5:17pm
Also, in addition to not having win/lose conditions, it doesn't seem to want to load...
TS_Mind_Swept 10 Nov, 2022 @ 4:45pm
No metro? What is THIs? o.0

This scenario was such a great way to practice how to use public transportation services to eliminate car traffic. It was funny when my stations had so many people waiting that they started using their pocket cars lol

I've played this multiple times, each as fun as the last. A well thought out and challenging scenario.
AndrewMartinUK 17 Dec, 2021 @ 9:00am
Really enjoyed the scenario, and forcing me to think about dissuading travel unless it's via public and yet not via metro. Thanks a lot.
Icy McFreezeFreeze 16 Apr, 2021 @ 11:56pm
I really enjoyed the concept of having several smaller towns, rather than one great big city.
Although to the mapper's credit, the initial traffic nightmare was pretty straightforward to alleviate. )b

Hard mode is to do this without Overground Metros or Trains gwahah.
jbonsall619 27 Feb, 2021 @ 10:54am
My first scenario and it was a lot of fun!
night_stray 13 Sep, 2020 @ 10:46am
A nice and easy Szenario. The Map is good and many little Districts. Good Work and thank for this
arthurlewis 5 Sep, 2020 @ 10:12am
There is no need for extra tiles - I didn't need any. Trains trains trains! Many thanks for the scenario - very nice
CoolantCorrie 22 Jul, 2020 @ 8:37am
Playing 81 tiles isn't an option for me. I can only play 25 tiles - is that enough, please?
McLouis 2 Jun, 2020 @ 12:59pm
Enjoyed it very much, thank you
simb53 27 May, 2020 @ 1:28pm
Great map and really fun - challenging but not too impossible... Thanks!Q

Nice scenario, great map, "absolute traffic nightmare" is an accurate description. I had to use quite a few different strategies to ease the traffic and win this one. Great job!
kristaps3212 4 Dec, 2019 @ 7:27am
Great map!
masterw 25 Sep, 2019 @ 7:27am
Worked perfectly and was a lot of fun to play. Thank you!
stupidgamertag3 20 Sep, 2019 @ 9:40am
Thank you a lot of fun. cheers
Toastgeraet 27 Jul, 2019 @ 1:23am
It doesnt show any win or losing conditions for me in the scenario screen. Is it broken? is a DLC required?
mikmeu  [author] 11 Jul, 2019 @ 2:39am
@ZAIRED a friend of mine made it with Photoshop, he is a graphic designer. I believe he just cut out the bus from the picture (as seen in the background)
ZAIRED 22 Jun, 2019 @ 7:44pm
Hey quick question... How did you make that thumbnail? How di you get that bus model?
Ixamer 16 Jun, 2019 @ 8:27am
Nice scenario, really entertaining !
Avallach 25 Apr, 2019 @ 4:49pm
Thanks for the scenario! Had a great lot of fun playing it, but i'll be honest, Mass Transit made everything easier. Great scenario, made me happy playing it and winning it.
hito 29 Mar, 2019 @ 4:04pm
good scenario.:steamhappy:
Methos Momomax 17 Feb, 2019 @ 3:30pm
I would say this is a fun map to work with, hard at first due to the low funds, but got easier as time moved on and more Mass Transit options could be purchased.
nolanalexander 4 Sep, 2018 @ 3:52pm
I just finished this one. I'd judge it as a medium challenge. Well made map. Thank you for the puzzle and taking the time and effort to share it with the rest of us.
LesbeansOnToast 17 Aug, 2018 @ 8:19am
I have won the scenario with only half of 750 weeks passed, with 3,000,000 or 4,000,000 money in the bank, and 85000 population.
Illegal Prime 9 Jul, 2018 @ 7:08pm
so nobody is using any of my publict transport. even though its free.

May I use this for a series on youtube?
greenlandseabear 26 Dec, 2017 @ 4:25am
it was fun, thank's
Roadmaster '93 26 Nov, 2017 @ 8:11am
can I play on on this map after I completed this scenario?
mikmeu  [author] 2 Sep, 2017 @ 8:30am
captainjack5757 I don't know how the game will respond to that. I guess you'll just win if you finish the goal, you've just found a possible way to cheat the scenario system.
captainjack5757 14 Aug, 2017 @ 6:17pm
I placed an international airport which includes a metro. I didn't get a losing screen, but in the goals tab it said I'd placed one. Then I actually placed one, and I still didn't get a lose screen. If I finish the million people moved, will I win or have I ruined my chances?
LeeLooMultiSpas 29 Jul, 2017 @ 8:54am
It was fun to play, altho I use mods, so for me perhaps too easy, but sure it is, my own fault. THumbs up.
VinnyViking 11 Jun, 2017 @ 10:18am
Good scenario indeed. should be updated for the Mass Transit
bionicnerd 9 Jun, 2017 @ 12:41pm
I really enjoyed this scenario. I was thankful it didn't count as a loss when I placed a passenger train hub which includes a metro stop. Please create more scenarios. You're good at this.
Nate69 28 May, 2017 @ 9:26am
For me the challenges worked just fine, although I don't own any DLCs. I played it with the latest patch, though. The scenario objectives were visible and counting throughout in the goals tab. I was able to reach the goal after only 315 game weeks with Eden Project and Medical Center completed and a football stadium. I don't think it's too easy though, for the first 100 weeks I was doubting I'd finish it in time and strapped for cash. I like to micromanage and play on the lowest speed and pause and think that was part of why I reached the goal early in terms of game weeks, I have probably spent a lot more real-life time on it than people who completed it after more game weeks. I tried to keep the different layouts of the smaller towns similar to what was already there, relied on busses and trains for most of the transport and finished with 39k population.
All in all very enjoyable, thank you :)
SarahAndrea Royce 24 May, 2017 @ 8:56am
I played into it for a few hours now and it seems to follow the rules, having me loosing when I accidentily hit 0 C and gave me money when I invested in buses. It is just that on the "new game" scenario selection it doesn't show the conditions (other than you provided in the discription)
SarahAndrea Royce 24 May, 2017 @ 5:53am
Is it an incompatibility with the latest patch as I haven't the win/lose conditions in the scenario? I still can play it, but to keep track of the challenges myself would be pretty tiring?
redboi 9 May, 2017 @ 6:02am
it's cool your scenario
Pwenynd59 18 Apr, 2017 @ 2:17am
Excellent scénario. J'y ai pris beaucoup de plaisir. Merci
Penrose 15 Apr, 2017 @ 9:01am
@mikmeu
I really like your scenario, i've completed it in 520 weeks. But i was wondering if it is possible to publish this game as a savegame, so that we can play it as a normal map? If you don't know how do that, tell me i can help you with that.
Thanks again for that great scenario.
Vampner 29 Mar, 2017 @ 5:32pm
525w without buses.

Cozonaq Inc. 28 Mar, 2017 @ 4:03am
242 weeks - buses, planes and trains (tho i changed some of the roads and also expanded 2 towns - the smartest thing i did is make a round about next to every town, there was an universal bus stop where a lot of lines meet)
