Thanks for the feedback.

The wizard toward the end isn't the end boss. It was more just thrown in as a pun to the original map and maybe for some comic reasons. He is easy 'cause you've already beaten him before. I think I gave him 10 hit points. :goblin:

Did you actually find the end of the map? Have you ever tried creating a custom dungeon?

I loved everything about this custom map but the end. The puzzles are challenging but solvable if you think clearly. It feels like LoG itself when playing the map, except the end.



Spoilers below but a honest rating: BE WARNED.


I am a big fan of Legend of Grimrock and I played this map like it WAS LoG 2, it was just so well made! But at the end it just felt rushed. It felt like ''here take all the stuff you can and go!'' You get so many healing shards but I still had 8 after defeating the end boss.
The end boss was not even an end boss. No offense, but the end boss of the custom map was as dissapointing as the end boss of LoG2 itself. I wish it were more like the Cube of LoG1. Puzzling and challenging at the same time.
Overall I loved it. Almost all of it. But the ending just did not do it for me.

can't find the entrance to the mine. Where is it? Has it got anything to do with the mummy room and pits to the tomb? Can i get there using the torches?

@ [DE] Andreas - You'll want to proceed and come back to those altars. It will probably make more sense later. There may be a bug that I'll need to patch as well. I'll have to review it.

I like your mod a lot, but some of the torch puzzles can be a bit confusing.
Right now I'm stuck in the Abandoned Mines, can't close all the pits to reach the entrance.
I figured out it has to do with the torches and the small button in the northern part. I manage to close the upper row of pits to reach the chest, but I can't close the others that lead to the entrance. Please help!

It is great, but when a spider jumps on you from the left or right you jump too. I went without mage and without extra light in. Could you maybe in some areas add a little bit more light, if it is not intended that you get scared by the spiders.

The mummy room/pit/tomb area is a torch puzzle. There are six torch holders in the pit room. See discussion thread for more information.

Hey I am having trouble in the clearing with the first ogre and forcefield box...pulled all levers and pushed all buttons (I think) in the mummy pit room and now have nowhere to go and the gate to the other building is still closed and I have no keys for the forcefield box---did I miss something?

I stuck in the dungeon off of the large outside area with statues leading up to the dungeon. I've been through the dungeon area that covers the whole right side of that map and have fell through the pits. I don't know if I have to go back outside thru the way I got in OR is there different area/exit from the dungeon?

Just updated to v.3.3 - I've lowered the generation of spiders in a puzzle in the chamber (based on feedback). Plus, I've allowed players a way to return to earlier areas from frist chamber.

There are two puzzles in the quest that can become more difficult the it takes you to solve. This wasn't something I saw in the original game so I thought it would be a unique challenge. The secrets earlier in the quest will help you will the spiders as well.
