Hey! Tried to download this to test but it seems like there are assets missing? It keeps failing to load a pastebin link, is there any solution or is mod no longer supported?

@Moarty, thanks for the offer but I'm no longer working on TTS mods. You might be able to find someone on the discord channel that would do it. Anyone that wants to can use the code i have written so far.

you can drop the ball onto the roulette wheel on the number you want and it won't spin and actually give that number. Other than that great work. Would like a conversion table or something to easily change chip value

@HugoN1, thanks for letting me know! I spoke with the dev and he thinks the physx update changed the way in which the object's resting state gets updated. I changed the coding to get around this and uploaded a fix.

I think the new update broke something, when the wheel stops it doesn't give or take away what someone bet

This was the first mod I made and I had no idea you could identify an object's type without using name/description when I first wrote it :)

Anyhoo, I uploaded a new version. I used the same method as MrStump, so chips no longer need to be named "Chip". You can also now put the value of the chip in the name (ie. $10000). Editing the script file of the chip is no longer necessary.

A note that only custom chips needs to be named with the value in the name. Standard chips can have any name, including the names he used in his mod. However, in order to identify the owner of the chip, they must still have the player color in the description. You'd need to make some changes to his mod in order to make that work correctly.

Why don't you use the same method of recognising chips as MrStumps? by using a chip list of 'names', then you can still use the 'chip value' part of your script.

Considering so many people have been confused by the way I implemented custom chips, maybe I should just change my mod to be the same as MrStumps. Let me see what I can do.

@sancho, I've tried using MrStumps, slight problem however, his script requires each chip set be required to be names differet (i.e $50, $40), rather than "chip", I dont fully understand the modding api, but I might be able to give you a hand on a workaround?

As for a trading system, I won't be adding one myself but anyone that is interested can feel free to update this mod and upload it separately. I recommend MrStump's universal chip converter as a start.

@BlueNexus, load your saved chips of choice. ie. I just tested with these: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1088487453

Name them "Chip" and put the color of the player in the description (ie. White). Save the game and load it, then edit the scripts on the chips and add "chipValue = 1000" or whatever in them. Save and run the scripts.

If this sounds convoluted it's because TTS doesn't support custom values on custom chips.

You can also use any of the standard chips (10, 50, 100, 500, 1000). Just put name them "Chip" and put the color of the player in the description.

Pick up the ball with left-click
While hovering over the wheel, press and hold right-click (while still holding left-click)
Move the mouse with the wheel quickly and release left-click

@JD, if it falls off the table, it will respawn in the middle of the table. If you deleted it, save your game, start fresh from the workshop, save the ball to your items, load your game again, then spawn the saved item.

I'm interested to see what you did, but I need to get off for now. Feel free to add me and hit me up so I can take a look. I'm definitely not happy with the current spinning since it's too easy for the ball to go flying off the wheel, so a better solution is needed.

As for the ability to restart, I might consider adding something. Do you have any suggestions? Some other roulette mods have some kind of penalty like needing to sit out for several rounds.

I made a funnel for ease of spinning if you want to join my game to save it...

I was just noting that if someone goes bankrupt I can't restart the color chip without going in and changing the discription

Thanks for letting me know. I've updated it with a fix for not detecting 0. As for "can't get chips back with restart", I'm not actually sure what you mean. Can you elaborate?
