I actually used the sleek design here as inspiration for a ship I made in Space Engineers. :D

Moving the ammo to the rear is a good idea, however, it could lead to some DIRE consequences, the ship is powerful, and the armor is strong, but when/if the armor is destroyed- The ship is a sitting duck... usally the ship's AI likes to swing the ship side, to side, doing this means that normal cannons can't easily hit it... However it is vunuralble to missiles, and torpedos, and when the torpedos or missiles hit- it's usally at the aft, or back, which ussaly breaches, and like I said, the ship is a sitting duck, I lost 2 Mutros that way... However moving the ammuniton to the rear overall is a great plan, sense I lost 5 or 6 mutros from breaching in the front mostly from the gray talons. But note, if you do move the ammuntion the the back of the ship, try to add some reinforcement, like more heavy armor, but Good Idea!

P.S Now I have over 40...

Thank you! Wow - 30 Mutros....glad you like them so much! I do plan a redesign to try to move the ammo to the rear of the ship, but since its such a compact ship, its not worked out well yet. Please let me know if you have any feedback for improving it. Have fun!!

This is one HELL of a warship. I have a large fleet in my game, consiting of 5 Pilkingtons (Don't ask) and over 30 Mutros, they are very good ship escorts, and are the best at air defence, being able to take ships 5 times their size! Good work!

The shielding is nice

Yup, the v2.0x is even better. :D I do notice that it tends to get blapped pretty easily. The armoring is designed to stop hits against the critical subsystems in the event that the shields don't stop the shots... so it has the peculiar nature of being nearly 1-shot by most big guns, however that's USUALLY only when it's facing overwhelming odds and/or several CRAM cannons after numerous vollies. :S

Essentially I'm getting at that it's still plenty capable of handling ships in excess of it's own material cost, just be aware that the v2.0 alpha update did some crazy things to CRAM cannons... They're a lot nastier than they used to be. >.>;

Okay... so... my personal opinion on this vessel:

For the campaign, any campaign, this ship is a god up until you start encountering the largest of ships. The shielding this thing has, deters all but the largest hits. A single ship can handle well in the order of 3:1 odds on a same material cost ratio. It's easily the most efficient and most devastating ship one can afford earlier on in any game.

Subscribe to this if you haven't. It's easily one of the most powerful vessels you can acquire and is still exceptionally powerful during late-game fights. :)

This guy is really helpful, he taught me the basics of building a ship.

I also really love this design, it looks quick, efficient, and deadly.

Lets just hope that the DWG doesn't start copying this amazing design.

Builds like these always have me envious, small and efficient builds are something I struggle with. Perhaps taking a poke at this will give me some insight, seeing how good this is for it's cost. Good job!
