there is no way to edit the models used in game and i have no skill in retexturing, but it shouldent be to hard adding in 2 archer units sadly real life is interfering with my free time but it is on the to do list

I was thinking the same thing as Ikta, but with a slight change, the more famous Greek Archers, the Toxotai were actually Cretans, they used long bows nearly as tall as a man (So say 5 foot or so for back then, people were way smaller.) where as greeks from the mainland preferred Shortbows roughly 3 feet in length once strung. So idk if you'd be willing to do it, but 2 greek bow units would be pretty badass.
