This either has to be a joke, or we have to deal with one of the worst studios out there.

The only problem with that, is that there's nowhere else to go. These dudes are so incompetent, so daft, unskilled and untalented, that they fail, eventually come second, to the genre they have absolute monopoly on.

This is the worst release since rome 2 and the game is not even broken, if you can call that a game, more like a demo.

3 WHOLE NEW FACTIONS, await you in this story driven light on tactics, light on strategy rpg, in the most linear map i have seen in a total war, it almost feels like the corridors of ff13.
One of the most glorious moments was killing the enemy antagonist of one of the factions that no one cares about, no one asked for, only to have him besiege me again in 3 TURNS with a stack of 17 and a stack of 12, while i was still replenishing. I still beat him with autoresolve because my units where elite, get it? Doesn't matter the enemy had 3-4 times the numbers, i had those MEDJAY dudes from the mummy, hell yeah dude YEEHAW!

I'm not even gonna list anything else, the failure of this is obvious, i want to talk about something else though, The Creative Assembly, is the worst. We now know from leaks of their incompetence, sega was not at fault. If anything, sega provided the funds their worthless brand branch or whatever the #### they call it was asking for. This is all their doing, this is one of the occasions we can clearly say, the devs are %%%%%%% idiots. Also, as of last night ca is banning anyone in redit or steam that mocks them or even asking genuine questions about future releases. They are they worst of the lot, a disgrace to the whole gaming community.

I will end this review with this, as last thoughts. $$$$ you Creative Assembly, **** you up your @@@@@@ asses, i regret spending those money back in 2000 to get shogun, should have stayed a normie. 1/3 of the people you are throwing away is not enough, shut it down, you WILL NOT BE MISSED, and you wanna know why? All we have to !!!!!!! do is wait till April of 2024 and you will be replaced before i can spell INADEQUATE, because that's what you are.

edit: ok ok i am a bit passionate and a bit of a &&&&, so i have to give credit where credit is due: You guy, whoever you are, who writes the music for these games, it is good stuff bro i have to admit it. It doesn't have the uniqueness and/or character of our daddy J.V.D. but it really helps to endure/slog though recent tw titles. I hope the best for you.

I was just re-downloading DD2 to try the new DLC & FLC, when i read the news.
As much i loved DD1 and DD2, it would never be what it is without the Absolute Legend, Wayne June the Voice Artist. This is a sad, sad day for gaming.

Rest Eternally, without you the indie scene would not be what it is, Darkest Dungeon was one of the games that really pushed indie gaming forward and this Man was one of the reasons it did.
