Yes to both.
1) Do they stack? (As in, a unit with a unique promotion conquers a capital/city state, they get another promotion)
2) Does conquering non-original capitals count for the purpose of getting promotions?
Next, you'll need to unzip the civ5mod file with WinRar, 7-Zip or any other program that can unzip the file.
After that, you'll need to place the file in the C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS folder. (Mind you, your name is supposed to be the your user name for the computer).
You should see this mod in the mod menu when you play.
Got it, but how do i put it in one of my folders for mods?
Got it. Thanks mate.
Try using {LINK REMOVED}http://steamworkshop.download instead, If not, I'm not sure what else I can do. Maybe ask you parents about this.
Cant find D:\Users?
Maybe check it around D:\Users?
I cannot find cache, i reckon this is because i installed it on my D: drive.
Well...
I'm not sure why would Norton block it.
Another way to download it is to go to C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache, delete Civ5ModsDatabase and then start up Civ5 again. Go to Mods, and wait the game to redownload the mod, although it will do this for all mods you downloaded.
I tried, and as my parents have norton family installed on this pc, it is blocked.
Try using steamworkshopdownloader.com . Follow the instructions there, and you can get the mod. You'll need WinRar or some similar program to unzip it.
Thank you!
And besides, you can't upload a Civ6 mod as a Civ5 mod.
Don't worry, I'll have two different versions, one for Civ5 and one for Civ6.
2. Sadly, no. But with Civ 6's modding tools are almost out, I've been thinking to make Shockwave a alternate leader for Decepticons once I make the Decepticons for Civ 6.
That said, I'll have to update this mod eventually to have Event and Decisions and stuff like that.
1. I have Gods and Kings and downloaded if even though its for BNW it works fine on GnK but has no special buildings or units
2- Can you make an Shockwave from G1 [the origanal show] civ? That would be awesome :) his icon could just be plain purple with a yellow dot in the middle so its like his eye and his colours could be purple and yellow, his UB could be a spacebridge? Thanks
Probably not. With Civ6 out, I'm thinking to put some of the ideas I have for Civs for Civ6 instead. Right now, I'm trying to update my Civs for mod support for the Event and Decisions mod and adding extra diplomacy lines for the Civ4 Diplomatic features and the Community Patch.
Do you see the mod as a .civ5mod file? Sometimes the game won't unzip it properly so you'll need to unzip with a program like WinRar or 7Zip.
Take a big Optimus heavy gun, author!
If I understand you correctly, the unique units are just renamed vanilla units, unfortunately.
The free courthouse always works.
I guess you can try to download it via steamworkshopdownloader.com . Just put this page's url in the box and download it. You'll need to unzip afterwards.
Sometimes the game won't unzip the civ5mod files, so you'll need to unzip them yourself. Use a program like WinRar to unzip it.
Thanks Troller! I couldn't done it without you! (And LeeS)
Ok, I see what you mean. I haven't though too much about how to buff up the Prime, so maybe I could take your suggestion.
If I understand you correctly, do mean having the Prime to have another bonus, like something that doesn't have to do with the promotion? I was thinking to, although I thought it had enough bonuses already. There's also the main fact you can get a Prime pretty early with the Honor policy tree, although Honor isn't the best policy tree.
I think the promotions turned out nicely, and it's good that you decided to make city-states count to get them too. Maybe you should make the units with the promotions look different so it's easer to keep track of them.
