I like the attention to details, the description of the turret no longer includes "Can only be placed once"

Just thought I would mention that this works with the FU Harvest turrets.

@whoever is commenting below, yes this is 100 Percent VANILLA FRIENDLY. and yes why would
you ask such a stupid question?.
Ein 29. juli 2019 kl. 3:36
Is this vanilla friendly? I dont want my friend to crash with it on.

Definitely works on 1.3.3. Wish there were more higher damage turrets in the game to deal with tier 5 and 6 enemies a bit better, but nothing to do with the mod. Thanks c:

@OnFireZyGram
It should. If I don't reply again, take that as a yes.
Someone 10. juni 2017 kl. 6:32
works with 1.3 ?
Raderg 28. apr. 2017 kl. 11:44
Will this work in 1.2.2?

@slymole
It would not be possible to migrate to FU turrets. FU uses heavily overhauled LUA scripts which may or may not be incompatible/incomplete without other FU base assets.
slymole 24. jan. 2017 kl. 20:29
The entire purpose of using turrets is to protect settlements on dangerous worlds, where standard turrets are next to useless (in my unmodded game, I'm running a functional hotel in an obsidian island on a magma sea, they barely even scratch fliers there.) Presumably, FU's turrets would be more useful on such worlds, but I'm hesitant to experiment if I can't alter their placement.

@sismir, I just checked and Frackin Universe enables construction of laser, napalm etc. turrets, by installing some of its weapons on standard turrets. Unfortunately, although the weapons themselves are reclaimable when you try to move them, the turrets are not. Perhaps @Azure Fang could consider expanding the functionality of this mod to Frackin Universe turrets?

Anything that restricts player freedom is pure heresy. I sincerely thank you for making this mod.
Azure Fang  [ophavsmand] 27. dec. 2016 kl. 23:25
@sismir
As do I. Sadly, that was a total LUA rewrite when they did that, far beyond my capability to mod :(
sismir 27. dec. 2016 kl. 17:24
i miss a mod taht bring the old tuurets back, those where you had to place a weapon in it for it to work and then it shot with that weapon
FerventVehemence 23. aug. 2016 kl. 21:13
I guess the original devs thought this would be too OP, but I think it's more realistic personally. Nice extension.

Turns out there is already a mod for unbreakable tech consoles here: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=740675828

Hi, I've included your mod as part of my mod collection: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=748797522&savesuccess=1

@StarX
I'll try for the console next.
VinchenzoTheJackal & Shoon 21. aug. 2016 kl. 19:10
This is wonderful!
Genny War 21. aug. 2016 kl. 17:17
@Star-X there is one for teleporters, not seen one for tech consoles though. http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=741194961
Star-X 21. aug. 2016 kl. 17:13
Any chance of also doing this to teleporters and portable tech consoles? As far as I can recall those are the only other two types of objects that shatter into a tiny bit of mats upon breaking, so it'd be nice to have a mod that makes them like literally every other object in the game.
ChronicAxis 21. aug. 2016 kl. 15:58
remember when turret required that you put a ranged weapon in them? i wish they still worked that way

You can always tell the "fuck you, player. Stop using your brain to get ahead" features/changes the moment you encounter them. Many thanks for addressing this one.
CobaltNinja 21. aug. 2016 kl. 14:17
Thanks for creating this. I appreciate your help.
