I prefer leaving interior decoration up to the players.
I had my ships chair disappear if that's what you mean. I found a solution to it though. Type /admin in chat, and then use a crafting station (I don't remember what it was that I used, I think it was the pixel printer but check them all) and I could make a Floran ship chair which I placed in place of the chair. The chair in this mod looks better, but it's suffer or solution.
Just reupload the mod, try unsubscribe and subscribe.
I also recommend you verify integrity of game cache.
I don't know why, but Starbound like not to load custom objects sometimes.
I will do this, but I assume if I plan on having any of my items in my ship, I'll have to go and remove them all and place them either in my inventory or in storage capsules on my current planet.
You need to go to singleplayer, unload all staff from your ship to planet and stay on that planet.
Then backup your saves, subscribe to this mod and delete *.shipworld file in "Starbound\storage\player" folder.
If you have multiple characters, then sort files by date and delete latest shipworld file.
